Every Wednesday, throughout the summer, I’ve been enjoying sharing posts about ice cream.
But now that the last breaths of summer have made way for the golden light and amber leaves of autumn, it’s time to turn towards thoughts of hedgerow harvests and onwards to winter warmers.
For those who want to hear the chimes of the ice cream van one last time, here’s a reminder of all the #IceCreamWednesday posts. Enjoy!

Thank you to all my generous guest posters for sharing their lovely recipes.

I've thoroughly enjoyed all the posts, thank you Kavey! But what will you make (and eat!) on Wednesdays now?
Bye bye #icecreamwednesday! See you next year I hope…
Kate, I'm not sure, but (ssssh) I didn't always make the ice creams on Wednesdays as I needed time to process the photos and write the posts so that they went live on Wednesdays. Plus many of them were guest posts so I didn't get to eat those either. Of course, I did eat plenty of ice cream too, which was wonderful.
Dom, hope so!
I have really enjoyed all these posts – especially after getting an ice-cream maker for the first time. Looking forward also to some wintery soups and stews!
Pardon the pun but it's a very cool idea having a seasonal series of ice cream over the summer. Hope you repeat it next year!
GC, thanks, we're planning some further series to suit the new season!
Sarah, am planning to, yes! And get some others involved too!
