December BSFIC: Booze!

It’s December – the month of indulgence, when we tend to eat and drink far too much and regret it (only slightly) in the new year. So I am going with the flow and inviting you to create something boozy for this month’s Bloggers Scream For Ice Cream.

BeerandNutsIceCream-9355

I’m full of ideas… from a variation on my stout beer and roasted salty peanuts ice cream to Pete’s savoury tequila concoction to a tiramisu-inspired indulgence to something based on a raid of the overflowing drinks cupboard … whisky, rum, cassis, Irish cream liqueur, cider, beer, vodka…

Of course, you can opt to make ice cream, sorbet, frozen yoghurt, semi-freddo or even a slushy or shaved ice dessert.

As usual, I’ve been bookmarking some ideas over on my BSFIC Pinterest board.

How To Take Part In BSFIC

  • Create and blog a recipe that fits the challenge by the 31st of the month.
  • In your post, mention and link to this Bloggers Scream For Ice Cream post.
  • In your post, include the Bloggers Scream For Ice Cream badge.
  • Email me (by the 31st of the month) with your first name or nickname (as you prefer), the link to your post and an image for my roundup, sized to no larger than 500 pixels on the longest side.

You are welcome to submit your post to as many blogger challenge events as you like.

If the recipe is not your own, please be aware of copyright issues. Please email me if you would like to discuss this.

If you like, please tweet about your post using#BSFIC or #bloggersscreamforicecream. If I’m online, I’ll retweet any I see.

Eagle eyed BSFIC regulars will notice that I’ve pushed the deadline to the 31st, which means the round up will go up in the first week of January, rather than on the first of the month as usual.
