October BSFIC: Japan!
I can see your eye brows knitting together.
“But… Japan’s not an ice cream flavour!!!”
Well no, you’re right, it isn’t. But what I’m requesting for this month’s Bloggers Scream For Ice Cream are ice creams (or sorbets, lollies or other frozen treats) that are inspired by Japan.
You can go for Japanese flavours such as matcha, miso, sakura or sesame (or perhaps chicken wing, eel or pit viper snake) or stick with familiar flavours but present your creation in the design of your favourite Japanese character. Hello Totoro, Pikachu, Godzilla! Hey, you can even weave an ice cream cone out of soba noodles, should you fancy it! This one’s wide open as it’s completely up to you how you interpret the theme!

Japanese Gift
As I’m visiting Japan during October I’ll be bringing back a little something in my suitcase, to send to the person who submits my favourite entry. It’ll be something small and fun that’s light and easy to post. And I’m happy to send it anywhere in the world, even back to Japan!

But wide open too, any interpretation… flavours and shapes, or inspired by a film or story, whatever you like that represents Japan to you!
I have an idea! Just don’t know if I have the chops to carry it off.
